愉快惊喜的爬山之旅 Jungle Trekking

早期对我真的很困难！！

美丽的早晨，兴奋的心情，因为第一次走进这片离我这么靠近的森林。

这森林就在我的家乡 Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia.

这森林 在龙华山庄 住宅花园 的屋后。是一个隐秘，少有人知道的入口。

入口的开头有着一小段泊油路，接着下来就是各种高高低低、时而平坦、时而崎岖的山路。丛林就在你的周围，走在期间无比的开心。对于这每天几乎每时每刻看着电脑及电话银幕工作的我，是种豪华的享受。我爱这美丽的大自然。

森林里有不同的路径，不识路的我若不是跟着熟悉路径大伙走，应该、一定的会迷路。不知道会不会走到山的另一边。哈哈。

有些山路很滑、有些山路很危险，只有一些些可以踩踏行走的路径。高兴的走着。

里面还有瀑布，不过这回没有机会到达，因为忽然天气的转换，乌云稍微遮住了太阳，感觉就快要下雨，只好匆忙的下山。哎呀。

我们在森林里也会塞车(塞人 啦)。因为是公共假日。小孩、年轻人、年长的都有，彼此见到，虽然不认识，都说着 早安 早安的。。

真幸福！

开讲啦~ 这次去上由Dr. John Flutter主讲的【口呼吸对牙齿和面型及健康的关系】。这次的讲座只有我们3个外国医师，其他的都是台湾医师哦（我们是不是很kiasuuuu xD）。还有一个重点是！讲座满场！满场！满场！所以从这一点就能够看得出有越来越多牙医关注到口呼吸对我们健康的影响啦~

在欧美国家早在20多年前就已经开始发现到口呼吸不仅仅对牙齿和外观造成影响，最重要的是口呼吸会对我们的一生造成影响。而且，这一切都是我们的舌头在“作怪” （可以参考我的上一篇文章哦 “你的舌头顶上来了吗？”~）。但是，在我们马来西亚资讯总是更新得特别慢，还有好多好多人都没意识到这个问题，也对这件事抱着质疑的态度。但是没关系！我就更加努力，把这个资讯分享出去，去给更多的人知道~ 加油！

去台湾上课还有一个好处就是可以拿到很多中文版的资料。在马来西亚或新加坡上课，很多时候资料都是英文的，但是不是每一个人都能看得懂英文的呀，有时候我们自己也翻译不出来。所以，当我们有了中文版的资料后，病人就更能理解其中的资讯啦~

你的舌头顶上来了吗？

你知道吗？75%的孩子拥有牙齿拥挤和下颌骨发育异常的问题，而且从5岁开始变得明显！

根据最新的研究显示，造成牙齿拥挤和下颌骨发育异常的最主要病因是 — 不良的口腔习惯!

大多数孩子只要拥有一个或多个不良的口腔习惯就会造成牙齿拥挤和下颌骨发育异常！

到底是什么导致了牙齿不齐？

答案就是—-舌头！

mrc-myobrace-beginner-course-2014-part-3-78-638          在我们不说话，不吃东西，嘴巴闭着的时候，我们的舌头应该是整片休息在上颚的位置。

16730162_1232766283437524_908357892263166300_n当我们的舌头有正确地休息在上颚时，才能维持上牙弓漂亮的“U”形，骨头对了，牙齿自然就整齐啦！

16730162_1232766283437524_908357892263166300_n当我们拥有以上所述的不良口腔习惯时，舌头是长期处在相对低的位置(low position)，上牙弓没有舌头“顶”着，自然就不能维持好看的形状，脸颊、嘴唇就一直压呀压，牙弓就渐渐变成“V”，长出来的牙齿就不整齐了。

所以，从现在开始就来看看你的舌头是不是有“顶”上来吧！

牙齿护理应从小做起

我们总是强调“预防胜于治疗”，口腔护理也一样，应从小就开始灌输孩子口腔健康的重要性。
牙齿的主要功能有：咀嚼、发音和美观。
如果牙齿缺失的早，它不仅仅会影响美观，也会让发育中的孩子因为牙缺了而影响咀嚼功能，进而影响营养吸收的问题，最终造成营养不良，说话时发音也会受到影响。

所以，家长们扮演着很重要的角色哦~

口呼吸不仅仅会影响外观，例如下巴往后缩、牙齿拥挤、牙龈色素沉着等等，若不及时纠正，将来发展成睡眠呼吸暂停综合征的可能性非常大！

用嘴巴呼吸会让孩子越变越丑！

以下是一位英国儿童牙科医生Dr.John Mew几十年的研究：

这位医生把每一个研究过的孩子都留下了照片。先看看这个孩子：

这名英国牙医的点评：由于他3年之中都张嘴呼吸，这3年之中，他的脸部向“下”发展。他的脸变得窄和长。他的下巴向后退缩，远离了过去完美和自然的位置。他现在有了双下巴。这还带来了健康问题，他有了睡眠呼吸暂停综合症 (Sleep apnea)。因为他的下巴后缩的原因，他的鼻子显得更大，他的脸颊肉也显得下坠。这张脸就是典型的用嘴巴呼吸的孩子们的脸型。

什么叫口呼吸？
口呼吸，就是晚上睡觉的时候，不用鼻子呼吸，而用嘴巴呼吸的简称。
为何孩子会用口呼吸？通常是因为上呼吸道堵塞造成的，例如鼻窦炎，鼻息肉，鼻甲肥大，腺样体肥大，扁桃体肥大等都会造成呼吸道堵塞，因为他们不能用鼻子呼吸，而只能用口呼吸。但也有一些人并不存在疾病，只是习惯口呼吸。

正常情况下用鼻子呼吸时，嘴巴闭合，这时候的舌尖是非常自然地顶在上颚的黏膜皱襞上。然而，张口呼吸时，舌体后坠下沉以打开口腔通道，久而久之，原本应该往前往下发育的下巴，容易发育受限，从而形成下巴后缩面容。

长期用嘴巴呼吸还会导致口腔干燥，上嘴唇短厚翘起，牙龈因为长期开口干燥而色素沉着，牙齿排列不齐，咬合不良等，这些都是连锁反应。

除了容貌的改变，还会影响精神状态和智力。长期使用嘴巴呼吸，氧气吸入量不够，睡眠品质较差，人在白天就容易打瞌睡，注意力不集中，甚至智力也会受轻微影响。

下面是两姐妹的故事。Kelly和Samantha是一对姐妹，前者7岁，后者8岁半。她们俩都有用嘴巴呼吸的习惯。医生对他们进行了教育矫正，帮助他们学会用鼻子呼吸。

左边的Kelly很聪明，听从了医生的话。但是右边的Samantha没有，他仍然用嘴呼吸。几年之后，两个孩子都回到了医生这里。照片如下：

很明显，用鼻子呼吸的Kelly面部仍然保持沉静的姣好比例，而用嘴呼吸的Samantha已经开始显露特点了，她的脸变长了，下巴后缩，闭嘴的时候显得非常局促！

所以，当家长们发现自己的孩子一直用嘴呼吸的话，一定要注意了。千万要及时纠正这个坏习惯，不然等孩子长大了，后悔都来不及了！
